1.Sounding the Seventh Trumpet (2001)

Sounding the Seventh Trumpet merupakan album pertama Avenged Sevenfold. Rilisan awal album ini adalah di tahun 2001 oleh Good Life Recordings, namun pada 19 Maret 2002 Hopeless Records merilisnya kembali dengan sedikit perbedaan pada kover album plus satu lagu bonus track yakni, "To End the Rapture (Heavy Metal Version)" yang juga diisi oleh pertama kalinya oleh gitaris baru mereka, Synyster Gates

2.Waking the Fallen(2003)
Waking the Fallen merupakan album kedua dari Avenged Sevenfold. Album ini dirilis pada 26 Agustus 2003 oleh Hopeless Records. Pada album ini Avenged Sevenfold, mereka mengeluarkan suara metalcore terakhir mereka, walaupun di album ini lebih banyak suara halus daripada album pertama mereka, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet. Waking the Fallen adalah album pertama bagi bassis baru Avenged Sevenfold, Johnny Christ, yang hingga sekarang menjadi bassis tetap A7X, setelah kepergian Dameon Ash. Album ini terjual 370,000 kopi diseluruh dunia, dimana 310,000 kopi terjual di America.

3.City of Evil (2005)

City of Evil merupakan album penuh ketiga Avenged Sevenfold yang kali ini dirilis tanggal 7 Juni,2005 sekaligus menjadi debut mereka bersama major label Warner Brothers. Musik yang ditawarkan di album ini sangat berbeda bila dibandingkan dengan rilisan mereka di tahun 2003 yang masih memainkan metalcore dimana di album ini karakter vokal M. Shadows tidak lagi memiliki guratan scream. Sedangkan bagian gitar terdengar lebih bertechnical dalam experimen metal yang mereka usung. Karakter musik yang baru ini membuat fans lama mereka mengkritisi Avenged Sevenfold dan mencap band ini mulai masuk ke dunia komersial untuk mendapat pasar musik yang lebih umum. Meski masih rumor, namun kabarnya perubahan musik Avenged Sevenfold ini terkait dengan hilangnya teriakan vokalis M. Shadows.

4.Avenged Sevenfold (2007)
Avenged Sevenfold adalah album keempat dari Avenged Sevenfold, dirilis pada 30 Oktober 2007 lewat Warner Bros. Records. Album ini sebenarnya akan dirilis pada tanggal 16 oktober, tetapi ditunda 2 minggu untuk memberikan waktu lebih guna menyelesaikan bonus material dan produksi rekaman, termasuk pembuatan video musik animasi untuk lagu “A Little Piece of Heaven“. Album ini mengawali debutnya dengan menempati nomor 4 di Billboard 200. Sampai saat ini, Album Avenged Sevenfold Sudah terjual lebih dari 552,000 kpi du Amerika Serikat dan lebih dari 1,000,000 kopi di seluruh dunia. Album ini sudah mendapat predikat Gold dari RIAA.Album ini juga dikenal sebagai ‘The Black & White Album’ karena warna cover-nya,Pada 9 September, tersebar berita telah rampungnya Video Klip untuk lagu “Almost Easy“. Disutradarai oleh P.R. Brown, yang terkenal dengan kolaborasinya dengan Mötley Crüe dan Marilyn Manson, dan lainnya. Pada 12 September 2007, tanggal rilis bagi video klip “Almost Easy” diumumkan dan 6 hari kemudian pada 18 September.

Live in The LBC & Diamonds in The Rough adalah album live pertama dan paket DVD yg dirilis pada tanggal 16 September 2008 oleh Avenged Sevenfold masih d bawah naungan Warner Bros Records.
DVD ini disutradarai oleh Core Entertainment’s Rafa Alcantara, yang juga bekerja pada pmbuatan lagu Critical Acclaim , 2007.
Pada tanggal 15 Agustus 2008, trailer dirilis oleh Avenged Sevenfold di saluran YouTube mereka. Pada tanggal 5 September 2008, Avenged Sevenfold merilis versi live dari “Seize The Day” dari DVD melalui account imeem mereka.
Ada dua alternatif campuran dari lagu di album self-titled:
* The CLA Mix dari “Almost Easy”
* Versi alternatif dari “Afterlife”
Live in The LBC & Diamonds in The Rough telah disertifikasi Platinum oleh RIAA. Pada tanggal 5 November 2008, CD / DVD combo bersertifikat Emas, juga mendapatkan Platinum dengan penjualan lebih dari 100.000 eksemplar.

6.Nightmare (2010)
Setelah beberapa lama mereka mengeluarkan single "Nightmare" pada 18 Juli 2010 yang nantinya akan masuk kedalam album baru mereka. Dalam single ini mereka memanggil Mike Portnoy dari Dream Theater untuk menggantikan posisi The Rev yang meninggal pada 28 Desember 2009.
